Job description

Our client is one of the largest privately-owned civil engineering and infrastructure specialists with over 40 years of experience working UK wide across the water, transport, built environment and energy sectors. They're still growing and expanding, so they are now looking for an experienced Site Engineer to further complement their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established  civil engineering and infrastructure company at a time when the business development plans are coming to fruition. Within this role, you’ll face new challenges whether that involves improving existing infrastructure or building new ones as each one brings its exciting challenges. In this varied role, we need an experienced Site Engineer, to provide site engineering duties to a number of projects within the region. You will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.



Job Details

Essential:

• Previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects

• Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations

• Specific experience with drainage, earthworks, structures and water

• CSCS card

• Cable avoidance training Desirable

• Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
