Back to Disciplines

Vital Resources provide blue and white-collar engineering and construction personnel for the UK and offshore markets. For 50 years, we have proven ourselves as the leading mechanical, electrical and construction labour provider.

Our team are industry leaders, labour managers and ex-industry personnel with unrivalled local market knowledge and a strong service ethic. With offices across England, Scotland and Wales we offer true national coverage across the following sectors:
Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation:
  • Building Services M&E – We supply skilled and semi-skilled trades to major commercial construction projects and interior fit outs. Our staff have worked in this sector for decades and know the temps well. As subscribers to the JIB industrial information service we can verify qualifications instantly.

  • Industrial ME & I / NAECI – Vital resources were one of the first recruitment businesses to join the ECIA and are one of the few agencies remaining as members. As such we regularly support our clients on “blue book” projects, assisting with industrial relations and seamlessly working alongside our clients’ workforce.

  • HV, Utilities and Substations – Vital Resources are rightly regarded as the leading labour supplier in this sector. Supplying personnel for 11-400kV projects across the UK power sectors. We service all the functional areas of substation and HV: design, construction, commissioning and hand over. Our clients include the major manufacturers, regional electricity companies, design houses and specialist electrical, mechanical and civil contractors.

  • Nuclear – Vital resources are working closely with major electrical contractors to ensure labour demands are met at Hinkley Point C and future projects such as Sizewell.

  • Renewable energy - We offer engineering solutions including feasibility studies, conceptual design, fabrication, civils, onshore substation platforms, turbine erection, cabling, final commissioning and O&M.

  • Oil and gas - Recruitment of engineering and construction personnel for both on and offshore projects: blue collar trades, white collar, field supervisory staff and engineering personnel. We understand working within a demanding and potentially dangerous environment.

Construction, Building and Civil Engineering
  • Built Environment - Supplying the complete spectrum of construction personnel with skills and experience for work on projects in the UK. Long standing trading history enabling a core workforce of proven and tested operatives.

  • Interior fit-out -Vital Resources has extensive interior fit-out resources delivering services for retail, financial services, leisure, hotels, restaurants and museums.

  • Scaffolding – We supply the full range of scaffolding and access personnel to major shutdowns, power generation sites and to house builders. All labour provided complies fully with the strict guidelines of the HSE.
