Job Details

JOB ROLE: Document Controller / Site Administrator 

Location of Project: Berwick Hospital 

Hours: 39 Per Week Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm

Start date: Work will commence in 4-6 Weeks time 

Duration: 12 Months 

Duties will include:

The role is focused at achieving results in a consistent manner to a defined quality.

Specific duties will include:

  • Building relationships with all members of the Merit staff on the project
  • Assisting in project start up to ensure all quality procedures and corresponding documentation packs provided by the QA team are utilised by the site team
  • Daily check on Viewpoint 4 Projects (V4) to ensure latest version drawings are available before works commence
  • Uploading technical submittals, RFI’s, etc. onto V4P
  • Printing of new issue and revised drawings and issue to site team
  • Preparation and issue of purchase orders
  • Receipt and filing of incoming goods delivery notes
  • Comparing inbound delivery notes against purchase orders and requisitions to ensure they concur
  • Collation of O+M information in line with inspection and test plans (ITP’s) and quality checklists
  • Scanning of all quality documentation (ITP’s, material certificates, any handwritten/signed documentation, etc.)
  • Daily check with site team to ensure they complete daily site diary
  • Maintaining effective stock control of all stationery/office items
  • Logging and monitoring of actions raised during site meetings
  • Assist site team in preparing presentations and spreadsheets
  • Reporting any issues to the site team and QA department

 

The Document Controller/Site Administrator will:

  • Foster excellent relations with clients, staff and suppliers
  • Provide quality services
  • Bring new ideas to the business to enhance the Merit brand, awareness of Merit and Merit services
  • Have the capacity to deliver a diversity of requirements within a working day
  • Have a flexible approach to work load

 

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Have a flexible approach to work load

Rate: £14.06 PAYE including holiday pay
