Pipefitter

An established Regional Building Services Installation and Maintenance service provider 

Job Details

Pipefitter / Commercial Plumber required to be based within a Government Defence establishment (military base) contract in the Hereford area. 

Working as part of a team the main duites will be Plant / Boiler Room Installation and Refurbishment, commercial plumbing / pipework duties across the site. 

Also required on occasion to carry out some fault finding and planned maintenance on pipework associated with the buildings.

There will be a neccesity to occassionally visit other MOD sites in the area.  

Fully expensed vehicle provided. 

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• To ensure all relevant Health and Safety, COSHH and Permit to Work Regulations are adhered to at all times    
• Report any deficiency in Health and Safety systems or documentation to own Line Manager or Manager of area concerned.
• Actively report all incidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with policies and procedures.

OTHER DUTIES:

• To participate in an on-call rota

Essential

• Time served / apprenticed in a relevant mechancial discipline (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) 
• Ability to Pass SC and basic security checks
• Hold a valid UK driving licence

Salary:  £33,000 - £35,000 basic 

Plus Overtime

Hours: Standard 37.5 hrs per week

Holidays: 22 Days plus + 8 days B/H
