Quantity Surveyor

Exciting opportunity to join a reputable main contractor with a solid order book of work, who are looking to appoint a new experienced Quantity Surveyor, to further strengthen their well established Commercial Department.

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in Rail, Civil or, Utilities projects? Do you want to work for a company that has a solid order book of work following recent framework wins? This role will involve commercial management of major projects throughout Scotland. Takeoffs, CVRs, and closing accounts The scope of works will cover Wind farm connections, OHL build, underground cable install, civils works, substation build.

The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate:

• Degree qualified (Minimum)
• Experience in Utilities/ Infrastructure and major projects
• Experience in a similar role/ capacity
• Capable of managing multiple subcontract packages
• Capable of managing junior staff members (SQS requirement)
• Solid contractual understanding and background
• Forecasting/CVRs
• Experience of using ERP systems such as Coins, Causeway, SAP, etc.
• Full Driving Licence
