Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator to be the second member of my clients IT team in their growing construction company.

Job Description
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Maintain cloud and on premise services including Microsoft 365, BuilderStorm and COINS
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Set up accounts and workstations
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Required Skills
• 3+ years Linux experience
• 3+ years Windows experience
• Experience of PC hardware builds, troubleshooting and support
• Experience maintaining multi-platform environments - ideally mixed Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
• Knowledge of networking protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, L2TP
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Powershell)

Salary – 30 – 35k
